Hey, I'm

Developer · Creator · Builder
Elegant code. Sharp edge.
Code with character.
I'm Altaaf Hamod — a Mauritian software engineer who builds online as MrVampCruz. For me, software is a craft: I care as much about how a thing is built as what it does. That means readable code, thoughtful architecture, and interfaces that feel calm to use. From the first line to the final deploy, I sweat the details so the people using my work never have to.
My work spans the full stack — React and Next.js on the front end, Node.js and Express powering the APIs behind them, and PostgreSQL or SQL Server keeping the data honest. I ship native Android apps, design REST APIs, and run the infrastructure they live on with Nginx, PM2, and Docker on plain Linux servers. Everything I build leans privacy-first: no dark patterns, no data harvesting, nothing I wouldn't run myself.
Whether it's a polished mobile app, a developer tool, or a community space, the goal never changes — elegant code with a sharp edge, shipped with care and built to last.
Built with purpose,
shipped with care.
From offline-first mobile apps to developer tools and community spaces — here's where my energy goes.
