Introducing MrVampCruz Uptime
When a site goes quiet, every minute counts. MrVampCruz Uptime watches your services around the clock and tells you the moment something breaks — and again when it recovers.
Live at uptime.mrvampcruz.com. Built in Mauritius by Altaaf Hamod (MrVampCruz).
Why I built it
I wanted monitoring that is honest about limits, useful on day one without a credit card, and clear when something is wrong — not buried in noise. MrVampCruz Uptime is that product: a personal project with real checks, real incidents, and optional public status pages you can share.
What you can monitor
- HTTP(S) — websites and APIs (default: 2xx–3xx as up)
- Keyword — HTTP plus a required string in the response body
- TCP port — databases, Redis, mail, and similar services
- Host reachability — TCP connect to a host (not ICMP ping)
Paid options unlock faster intervals, custom timeouts, custom “up” status codes, extra HTTP methods, headers/body, and Basic / Digest / Bearer auth.
Multi-region checks
Each monitor can be probed from one or more checker regions so you catch outages that only show up in part of the world. The Free plan starts with a single region; paid plans can add more. Active regions appear on the site as checkers come online.
Alerts that reach you
- Email and in-app notifications (on by default)
- Optional Telegram via @mrvampcruz_uptime_bot — connect in Settings, then enable Telegram per monitor
You get notified when a region opens a downtime incident and when it recovers.
Incidents, history, and status pages
Failed checks open incidents with cause and duration. Uptime trends and response-time history stay with your plan’s retention.
Publish a public status page for yourself or a team at /status/your-link, pick which monitors appear, and optionally hide the real URL. The platform’s own health lives at /status.
Teams (paid)
Create a team, invite members and team leads, share monitors, and run team status pages. Limits follow the Manager’s plan — details are always on Pricing.
Extra power when you need it
- SSL & domain monitoring — certificate errors and expiry reminders
- Keep-alive — lighter pings between checks to keep endpoints warm
- Fast checks — shorter intervals on eligible plans
- Monitor groups — keep a growing list organized
Pricing without the maze
There is a Free plan — no card required — with monitors, email/in-app alerts, incident tracking, and a public status page.
Paid plans go through PayPal (monthly or yearly). Feature comparison and current limits load live on Pricing — that page is the source of truth as plans evolve.
Who it’s for
